SMBT Institute of Medical Science & Research Centre has the honor to organize the 24th Annual Maharashtra State Joint Conference of IAPSM & IPHA. The conference was scheduled on 18th March 2023. The conference is themed "Tackling the burden of Non-communicable diseases- New frontiers and challenges". This academic event was attended by eminent dignitaries, public health professionals, and scholars from different parts of the state as well as the country. The chief guests for the inaugural session were Lt.Gen Madhuri Kanitkar(Retd)-Vice Chancellor of MUHS and Dr. Subhash Salunke- former DGHS Maharashtra and Deputy Director, WHOSEARO and country Representative Indonesia.

Vice Chancellor of MUHS, Lt.Gen Madhuri Kanitkar(Retd) attended the conference venue and delivered her speech, which was a guiding light for us. She also inspected the various departments and all the facilities on the SMBT Campus. Her words of appreciation inspired and energized all of us.
