Pediatric cardiac treatment reaches every child

SMBT heart institute works with a vision that Pediatric cardiac treatment should be within reach of every child irrespective of their financial status or their parent's education status, gender, or social and economic background. SMBT heart institute is continuously working to uplift the clinical cardiology work through technical and scientific advancement to achieve international standards of care.

As an initiative, SMBT heart institute invited Dr. Lan Hieu from Vietnam, one of the best pediatric cardiologists in Asia, to conduct a special device closure camp for CHD. Dr. Lan Hieu and highly skilled delegates from South East Asia, along with cardiologists and cardiac surgeons of SMBT heart institute, created history by successfully operating on 27 heart patients in just two days.

SMBT heart institute has been organizing similar cardiac camps for CHD since 2015. To date, more than 1000 CHD (Congenital heart disease) cases have been successfully treated.
