87 year old patient defeats Cancer

This was proved recently at SMBT Cancer Institute, Nashik. A super complicated surgery was successfully performed on an 87-year-old cancer patient. Interestingly, on the very second day after surgery, this patient surprised many by walking around.

87-year-old Aziz Mansuri from Kopargaon was suffering badly from a serious cough for the past few days. He underwent medical treatment at various hospitals, but could not be diagnosed. After some days he noticed blood in his sputum. His family then admitted him to the SMBT Hospital. Tests there revealed a cancerous tumor in his left lung. Smoking is one of the major reasons for lung cancer.

The treatment was complicated as the patient would have to survive on one lung while the other one was being operated on. Mansuri's surgery was complicated due to his age and the location of the tumor. But the doctors performed the three-hour operation with great skill and expertise to emerge successful. After 15 days of recuperation, Manusri was discharged from the hospital
