Foreign Students prefer SMBT for medical education
Nine students from different countries were at SMBT hospital, the largest charitable hospital, in North Maharashtra, for the past 20 days as their quest to study the different treatment methodologies used on patients in different countries.
Among these students were Adam dukovic (Slovakia), Alisa Fernandez (Spain), Julia Konat (Poland) Mariam Albania (Bahrain), Nour Hussain ilvakil(Egypt), Marta Pareze (Spain), Yuri Silva (Brazil) and Emma (Estonia).
Notably, four students of SMBT Medical College visited France, Italy and Spain recently.
Aryaman Sing and Atharva Devkar went to France, Swarali Khedkar went to Italy and Janvi Parker went to Spain in June and July.
At this time, they study treatment methodology being used on patients in these countries. Students have to work on a research project under the exchange program.
Through this, medical students get an opportunity to this increase their knowledge in the field of research of their choice.
This program is implemented through medical colleges and universities.
Professors from SMBTMedical College Dr. Shyam Astekar, Dr. Sanjay Jadhav, Dr. Niraj More, Dr. Kiran Rajole, and Leena Jain guided the students.
The entire-project benefited from the valuable guidance received from Dr Meenal Mohgaonkar Dean of SMBT Medical College and Secretary of MSAI SMBT.
Project coordinator Manasi Padhyegurjar and SMBT-MSAI student representatives Janhavi Sabu, Jatin Kukreja, Janhavi Parkar, Janhavi Valyaparambil, and Atharva Devkar worked hard for the successful completion of the project.
