SMBT College of Pharmacy Secures 13 Patents: A Milestone in Innovation

We are proud to announce that SMBT College of Pharmacy has received approval for 13 patents from the Indian Patent Office. This significant achievement highlights our commitment to pharmaceutical research and innovation.

One notable patent is for an apparatus that analyzes polyaniline and polyester nanocomposites, preventing poisoning and adverse health effects in pharmaceuticals, benefiting children, pregnant women, and the elderly. As the only institution in North Maharashtra to achieve this recognition, our efforts also include developing safer medication alternatives and advanced drug dispensing systems. With eight more patents pending, we remain dedicated to pioneering advancements that improve public health.
