Visit to SMBT Hospital - Oncology Department

Hospital visit arranged on 24th and 26th September 2024 at SMBT Hospital (Oncology Department) .The visit to the oncology department provided the student with valuable insights into the complexities of cancer care. The experiences observed highlighted the critical role of empathy, teamwork, and patient education in oncology. This visit reinforced the student’s interest in pursuing a career in healthcare, particularly in oncology, and the importance of ongoing learning in this field.
