World Pharmacist Day and NSS Foundation Day report on Street Play

On the occasion of World Pharmacist Day and NSS Foundation Day, NSS students from S.M.B.T. College of Pharmacy, Dhamangaon, performed a street play in Sakur Phata village to educate villagers about the dangers of dengue fever and preventive measures. Mr. P. R. Dighe, NSS Programme Officer, presented the theme of the street play. The 25-minute play attracted an audience. Students effectively conveyed key messages through simple, easy-to-understand language regarding symptoms and transmission of dengue fever, importance of cleanliness and sanitation, use of mosquito nets and repellents, elimination of stagnant water breeding grounds, early medical consultation. 50 NSS students, 2 teaching staff members (Mr. P. R. Dighe, NSS Programme Officer, and Ms. P. P. Shinde), and 1 non-teaching staff were present
