Pharmacist Day-Debate Competition

On 25th September, SMBT College of Pharmacy celebrated Pharmacist Day with enthusiasm, focusing on the theme "Pharmacist Meeting Global Health Needs," highlighting the essential role of pharmacists in addressing global health challenges. The event began with the Pharmacist's Oath, where students and faculty pledged their commitment to ethical pharmacy practice and patient well-being. A debate competition followed, with students discussing pharmacy-related global health issues. Winners included Sakshi Velhal and Ashlesha Jadhav (Final Year), Vaishnavi Kale and Sakshi Khatale (Third Year), and Suyash Gaikwad and Sanket Pansare (Second Year). In a special gesture, final-year students honored local pharmacists for their service to the community, strengthening ties between the college and healthcare providers. The day concluded with reflections on the vital role of pharmacists, inspiring students to embrace their future responsibilities. The organizing committee thanked all participants and contributors, making the event a memorable celebration of the pharmacy profession.
