Participation for SPPU organized Chess competition

The SPPU Zonal Chess Competition was held on 23.09.2024 at Srichandra Garden Lawns, in front of Gajanan Maharaj Sansthan, Tryambakeshvar, talented players from various affiliated colleges. Participants from colleges took part in the competition, representing their respective zones. The competition was conducted under the supervision of official chess arbiters, ensuring fair play and adherence to international chess rules.
After a series of challenging rounds, the final results were announced. Aaditya Kakad and Sejal Dhobale, representing SMBT College of Pharmacy, won till round 5, but unfortunately lost in the final 2 rounds. The other three students, Dhiraj, Manish and Arshad, won 3 rounds of the match. The SPPU Zonal Chess Competition was a grand success, providing a platform for students to showcase their chess skills and learn valuable life lessons in strategy, patience, and perseverance.
