An Expert lecture on "World Suicide Prevention Day"

Expert lecture on “World Suicide Prevention Day” was organized by SMBT College of Pharmacy in collaboration with RISE Dept. on 10/09/2024 at 1.00 pm-4.00 pm. Expert lecture was start with felicitation of guest by Ms. Kavita Gadade, Head of Rise Dept. Total 59 students & 04 faculty SVL, NVS, PPS, SKS were present for the program. Dr. Anand Patil explained in detail about prevention strategies such as early identification and treatment of mental health conditions, reducing access to means of suicide, promoting social connections and community support. Encouraging open conversations about mental health, providing crisis intervention services.
