Seven-Day NSS Camp Conducted in Lahavit Village

In the present self-centered world, social commitment amongst students is best motivated by National Service Scheme. The one week winter camp in a village is the highlight of the NSS activities every year.

NSS Seven day special winter camp was held at Lahavit village by SMBT College of Pharmacy, Dhamangaon from 23rd Dec. to 29th Dec.2019 and the 24 volunteers camped at Janata Vidyalaya,Lahvit.

SMBT College of Pharmacy, Dhamangaon celebrated National Service Scheme foundation day on 24th September 2020 at 12.00 noon. On this occasion Principal Dr. A S Dhake and Coordinator Dr M R Kumbhare Garland Mahtma Gandhi and Saraswati photo. 8 teachers and 10 non-teaching staff were present at program venue and other teachers and 49 NSS Volunteers joined digitally through Google meet. Ms Vaishnavi Patil, NSS Volunteer gave speech on establishment, mission and vision of NSS. Mr Pankaj Kunde, NSS Volunteer gave speech on the programmes implemented last year by NSS Unit. Mr R B Rode talked on ‘My Family My Responsibility’ scheme of Maharashtra Government and asked volunteers to join this scheme. Dr A S Dhake guided NSS Volunteers to participate in social work through National Service Scheme. Mr Vaibhav Wagh, NSS Volunteer gave vote of thank.
