Celebration of 71st Constitution Day

On 26th November 2020, SMBT College of Pharmacy, Dhamangaon celebrated ‘Constitution day’at 11.30 am.The activity was organized by NSS unit. At the beginning of the program Principal Dr. A S Dhake, Mr. R B Rode and Mr. S B. Dhikale paid floral tribute to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s photo. On this occasion Mr. YashTharewal, NSS Volunteer gave speech on History of Indian Constitution. Mr. Varad Kale, NSS Volunteer expressed his views on establishment of constitution committee and making of constitution after studying constitutions of different countries. Mr. R B Rode talked on preamble of constitution and focused on ‘Democracy, Secularism and Socialism. Mr. A J Rabade talked on fundamental Rights and Fundamental Duties of every Indian citizen. Dr A S Dhake addressed participants and shared his views on the importance of constitution and efforts taken to bring constitution into existence. He emphasized in his speech that Dr. B. R. Ambedkar was an Architect of Indian Constitution. Some members of the teaching staff, non-teaching staff were present at the venue and a number of students joined the program online through the Google meet. Ms. Gayatri Shelar, NSS Volunteer proposed vote of thanks.Ms. P. P. Shinde(Asst.Professor) hosted and Ms. Kanchan Khedkar (Asst.Professor)Co-ordinated the program.
